Speaker consoles NUBESS over president’s death

Speaker, Benue State House of Assembly,  Titus Uba has on behalf of his family, Members and staff of the 9th Assembly, condoled with the Benue students community over the sudden and untimely death of the President of National Union of Benue State Students (NUBESS), Comrade Manasseh Agudo.

In a statement by the Chief Press Secretary, Wuese Orshi, the Speaker says, the sudden demise of Comrade Agudo is no doubt a huge loss not only to NUBESS but the entire Benue State.

The statement read in part: “It is, indeed, sad and pathetic that Manasseh whose passion to champion the cause of Benue students could not live to act in the capacity to which he was lately enthroned. However, he commendably played a pivotal role in giving the union impetus and direction before his demise.”

According to the statement, the number one law maker said, Benue people will not forget the humility and comradeliness of the late NUBESS President and called on the leadership of NUBESS and the entire Benue students to take heart and be consoled by the fact that, Agudo has dutifully played his role on earth.

The Speaker prayed that God almighty to grant his family and the entire Benue State students the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
