The Police Command in Nasarawa State has confirmed the attack on a farmer, Mr Gambo Ambi whose left arm was cut by suspected herdsmen at Ome community in Obi Local Government Area of Nasarawa State.
The Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) in the State, ASP Nansel Rahman who confirmed the incident on recently said three suspects have been arrested in connection to the crime and investigation was ongoing.
“The left hand of the victim was severed from his wrist while a finger was severed on his right hand.
“The victim has been taken to the hospital for treatment, three (3) suspects have been arrested in connection to the crime and investigation is ongoing,” he said.
The Voice gathered that Mr Ambi was on his farmland when the suspected herdsmen invaded his crops and in the process of preventing from destroying his crops, he was attacked by the herdsmen.
