Following the vandalisation of New Concept clinic, opposite Apa Local Government Secretariat in Ugbokpo recently, the Ugbokpo Traditional Council led by the Clan Head of Ugbokpo, Chief Noah Adikwu has placed a curse on the perpetrators during a joint security council meeting in his palace, after a visit to the clinic to access the level of damage.

In the communiqué issued at the end of the meeting, the Ugbokpo Traditional Council condemned the act and placed curse on the perpetrators.

The Traditional Council applauded the prompt intervention of the Council Chairman, Ameh Akoche, and the security agencies, particularly the police, in bringing the situation under control. They also urged them to intensify effort to ensure that, those involved in the vandalisation and destruction of the clinic be brought to book.

The communiqué which was signed by Ugbokpo Traditional Council, Secretary Baba Adaji, stressed that, Ugbokpo Traditional Council will not relent in its effort to ensure that, the hoodlums are arrested and prosecuted, so as to serve as deterrent to those who may be nursing such ambition.

The Voice gathered that, during the recent incident, all the patients in the hospital, including those that were on drip, blood transfusion and so on were forced out of the clinic before they started their dubious act.
