The Vice Chairman/CEO of Lobi Stars FC of Makurdi, Dominic Iorfa has described the verdict revalidating the victory of the Governor of Benue State, Rev Fr Hyacinth Alia and his Deputy, Sam Ode by the Governorship Election Petitions Tribunal, sitting in Makurdi, Benue State, as sound.
Iorfa in a congratulatory message on behalf of the management, staff and players of the club, said the judgement was in reaffirmation of the sacred mandate freely expressed and given to Governor Alia and his Deputy, Ode by the people of the state at the polls, noting that this would strengthen the hope and belief of the people in governor Alia and his deputy.

He further explained that their mandate was divine and must be supported, saying, “since they came on board, the impact of governance was being felt in the state, especially in the areas of welfare, infrastructural development and Sports”.
The former Queens Park Rangers FC of England speedster, assured of his total commitment and support to enable them to succeed on their mandate and prayed God to also grant them the needed wisdom with which to continue with the good work that they had started.
