Speaker, Benue State House of Assembly, Titus Uba, has called on the people of the North Central Geo-political Zone to come together, irrespective of their political affiliations and produce the next president of the country by 2023.

Uba made the call in Makurdi recently, while speaking with newsmen, shortly after an interaction with a delegation from Kogi State, led by the Speaker, Kogi State House of Assembly, Matthew Kolawole, who were in the state to canvas support for the Presidential ambition of Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State

He said, the candidature of Governor Bello should be an eye opener to the people of North Central. According to him, “it is time for the people of the region to produce the president of the country.”

Uba commended the delegation for the visit and pledged the support of Benue State to the course of producing a North Central president in 2023.

The Kogi State House of Assembly Speaker, Kolawole said they were in the state to canvas support for Governor Bello’s presidency come 2023.

He pointed out some achievements of Governor Bello to include restoration of security in the state, youths and women empowerment and civil service reform among others and stressed the need to support him to consolidate same across the region.
