Speaker, Benue State House of Assembly, Titus Uba has lauded the sustained prayers of his immediate community leading to his elevation in the society.

Uba, who is also the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate for next year’s governorship election, made this known when he attended Sunday Mass at his home Parish, St Jude’s Parish, Koti-Yough, Ute, Vandeikya Local Government Area.

“I’m delighted to be home with you and congratulate the parish priest and his team for remaining resolute to the task of building a befitting church for the Catholic community in my locality,” he stated.

Uba recalled the earlier donations he had made for the church project, while he was impressed with the level of work done on the building and presented additional financial support to keep work in progress.

He urged the parishioners and other spirited individuals to also lend their support for the completion of the building.

“I appreciated you my people for your sustained prayers for me, your prayers has kept me on a progressive ladder,” he noted.

He pledged that, if given the opportunity to succeed Governor Samuel Ortom, he would make his people and the state proud by providing purposeful leadership to people of the state.

Earlier, in a homily, the Parish Priest, Rev. Fr Emmanuel Agba  enjoined Christians to work towards the realization of their dreams, in fulfillment of God’s purpose in their lives.
