Speaker, Benue State House Of Assembly, Titus Uba, has on behalf of his family, members and staff of the 9th Benue State House Of Assembly, commiserated with Lobi Stars FC, over the death of their former manager, Mr Barnabas Imenger after a protracted illness.
The Speaker in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Wuese Orshi, described the demise of Mr Imenger as shocking and quite painful, not only to Lobi Stars but the international football community.
“The Ex-Super eagles striker was a football legend who was loved and admired by many because of his stylish display on the football pitch,” he said.
He consoled Lobi Stars FC, the entire Imenger family and urged them to take solace in the fact that, the Ex-Super eagles striker lived a fulfilled life in his chosen career and has left an indelible legacy for the younger generation. He prayed that God grant the deceased eternal rest.
