It has become obvious that Lobi Stars Football Club Vice Chairman, Mike Idoko will leave the club, The Voice Sports can authoritatively report.

This is because the fans and stakeholders are tired with the vice chairman’s administration.

This was manifested when Lobi Stars hosted Katsina United in the Nigeria Professional Premier League game day 12 during which the fans and stakeholders carried out a Mike-Idoko-Must-go protest while the game was going on at the Aper Aku Stadium, recently.

According to the angry fans and stakeholders, “Mike Idoko’s style of leadership is not acceptable to them again.”

Some of the fans who spoke to The Voice Sports after Lobi beat Katsina United 2-1 said though Lobi won, it was not what theye expected. For Isaac Terngu, “since Idoko took over as vice chairman of Lobi in 2015, we stakeholders and fans no longer have a say in the affairs of the club,” adding that Idoko has been using divide and rule tactics to lead the club.

Another stakeholder, Peter Oche told The Voice Sports that: “We no longer want Idoko in Lobi because we no longer understand him, he does not even take care for his staff and players,” Oche claimed.

To a referee (name withheld), “Idoko claims referees do not want him, so he should quietly leave the club.”

The Voice Sports learnt that all these are coming on the heels of the lackluster performance of the club in the 2021 Nigeria Professional Premier League.
