The Nasarawa State Governor, Engr Abdullahi Sule, has dissolved members of state Executive Council.
Governor Sule announced the dissolution at an expanded meeting of the state Executive Council, held at the Government House, Lafia on Monday.
The governor who did not give reasons for the dissolution said those affected include all commissioners, special advisers and senior special assistants, except for those manning humanitarian services and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The governor thanked the sacked appointees for their commitment and services rendered to the administration, stressing that his administration will continue to count on their support in the future.
Responding on behalf of the former appointees, Dr Abdukarim Abubakar, who was the state Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, thanked the governor for giving them the opportunity to serve the state in their different capacities.
He assured of their continued support to the administration of the governor and the 2023 general elections.
It would be recalled that Governor Sule inaugurated commissioners on November 1, 2019.
