Benue State Governor, Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Alia, has described his deputy, Barr. Sam Ode, as a competent, reliable and dedicated person, as the deputy governor marks his 55th birthday anniversary.

According to a statement made available to newsmen by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Sir Tersoo Kula, Gov Alia described Ode as a cool-headed gentleman who prioritizes the interest of the state above other narrow considerations in the discharge of his duties.

“The Governor notes that Barrister Sam Ode’s commitment to excellence, confidence, passion and problem-solving abilities makes him a big asset to the current administration.

“The governor disclosed that he is proud to have Barrister Sam Ode as his deputy, especially as he has given a good account of himself since their coming into office in May 2023”, the statement reads.

He further wished the Deputy Governor more prosperous years and God’s continued guidance as they continue to steer the affairs of the state together as a team.
